Kokoro Connect means mind, heart, feelings emotions Connect! It all started with going out for sushi with a couple of friends on one regular, repetitive, usual day. They kept bolstering this anime one sushi roll after the next, that one and Haikyuu!!, until finally I began seeing the light in their eyes and decided to give it a shot! This anime hits the feels very well, by taking the viewer through a roller coaster of emotions within each character's mind. The synopsis of the anime, if you haven't read the description, is that five characters switch bodies and are forced to live each other's lives for ashort time. Of course the guy receiving a girl's body is going to end up causing some juicy content to occur, but it's not all just nice legs here. The anime goes really in-depth displaying each character's emotions and providing an OMEGA background story for each character.

Everyone has their troubles, and it's fair to say that high school is the worst (I mean best) time to begin learning about yourself and the other people around you. I must admit that I felt those fun bubbly emotions inside when the romance knob was turned on high. If you don't know what I mean, to all of you guys out there, those are the strange feelings of cute bunnies that you feel in your stomach when you're happy. For the girls, well, what do girls feel like inside?

My point is that this anime has a lot of rich content and it shouldn't be passed over with the flick of a brow and a click of a mouse (not a real mouse). You are bound to enjoy this anime under one condition. You put yourself in that character's shoes and REALLY, and I mean actually do this, REALLY imagine what it would be like to be forced to live the life that they do.

Good luck and many thanks for reading. Here are the ratings:
Story - 8 - The story is split up into numerous different missions that the group must complete before moving on. It's like a video game, minus blood gushing monsters and luscious babes to greet you as a reward. The only real purpose is that everyone in the group lives happily ever after.
Graphics - 9 - Bright and shiny artwork followed by the occasional super detailed character movement using 2x frame rate. The characters were aesthetically pleasing, which is always nice on the eyes, as well as I enjoyed sitting back, relaxing, and watching every scene just because.
Soundtrack - 10 - Really, really happy sound tracks used for touching moments, and fun action sound tracks used for intense scenes/battles. As well, tracks were done for very sad and emotional times.
Character development - 10 - This anime is all about character development. In fact, every character goes through such a roller coaster that I give them each a new respect by the time all of the wounds are patched up.
Character voiceovers - 10 - I watched in Japanese and found that 4/5 of the characters had very.. no I'll take that back. All 5 did an extremely good job of changing tones when necessary and fulfilling their roll.

Overall - 10
Recommended - Absolutely. What a treat!
