I would be so down for a long-form anime run by Mamoru Hosoda. Probably some of the best stuff from Digimon even if the story was very barebones, but it's only twenty minutes. Had more funny moments than I remembered and I was quite surprised at how different the English and Japanese dubs are. The English one is missing a few scenes and underlaid with a bunch of late 90s Pop Punk (All My Friends are Metalheads for example), while the Japanese dub feels way more serious and hardly uses musical undertones. I also find it kind of hilarious how the plot of a movieaimed at probably 6-year-olds focuses on a bug hacking into the Pentagon and trying to nuke the main characters. Not to forget there is a romance side plot in the background.
