Review of Neon Genesis Evangelion

On face value the show itself is 7/10. There's a lot of things not to like. Things feel a little too slow for proper enjoyment. There also seems to be a lot of repetition which can get annoying. However, the 10/10 comes from after you finish the show. It isn't the ending, which is super confusing and not that great in my opinion. Instead, the reflection you do once you've completed it absolutely wrecks your mental. Only after everything is done does the examination of loneliness and lack in humanity have the biggest impact on you. I've personally lostdays of sleep thinking about these concepts before bed because this show introduces them to you in such a mind-boggling way.
