I had this on VHS when I was a kid, so for me, it holds a special place in my heart. It's a cute, little short anime that is a part of a much larger series of works. I have not read the manga, and I didn't particularly like the television show either, but I found this OAV enjoyable. The ending, especially, I thought was very cute, and it took me by surprise when I first saw it. The art is good. The characters are sweet. The music isn't too bad either. I like the opening song. Some parts are a bit too much for me, lovey-dovey wise.It gets to be a little cringe for me at times, but it's not so bad that I wouldn't watch it again because it's also very short.

I watched it dubbed. And I prefer it dubbed, if only for nostalgia's sake.
