Review of Sword Art Online

The story is not very original for an anime but that's the kind of thing i like so i had to watch SAO. First of all, the postulate of the anime, blocked in a game, you die in it you die for real, allows to stay in this world without the problem of video game like you have to disconnect and other thing, moreover you see this world evolving with player who plays a game but with the fear of death and this bring all the tension this anime need. About characters, Kirito is well developed and keep a part of mysterie The rest of the castis appealling and i found no really annoying character
I don't develop to much this part because i don't want to spoil too much

I am only saying good things a rate 5 story and character, why you may say.

Because of this FUCKING second arc. It is so bad, it tooks all that was good in the first one and throw it away.

Maybe it's a spoil but if you are not dumb you know Kirito wil escape the game. And then the second arc begin.

And for some reason i have to return in an other game, and here are the problem, it's a normal game, no trap, no shit, so why should i be worried about him ? This kill all the interest of the anime.

The second big problem is his sister. I don't know why they decide to make her main character. It could have been a great idea, brother and sister helping each other with their real problem in a game just like in the first arc.
I'm sorry but, (i don't know if it's ok in Japan), I can't have empathy and follow a character which is in love with his brother. The whole time i was like " No incest please, she must have a more interresting to do in this story". But NO, she keeps crying about her lover because Kirito loves someone else.

Conclusion : watch this anime but stop at the 14 episode it's a perfect end and you should be able to wath the second season
