Review of Black Lagoon

This plot line reminded me a lot of Cowboy bebop, except Levi takes the lead as the hardcore leader of the group with a dark dangerous past, sort of like spike. She doesn't rely on her womanly talents to get what she wants (unlike Faye who I still love) she relies on her gun and her amazing fighting abilities rather which is what makes her so likable. She is solid in her resolve and almost becomes a role model for "Rock" as he quits his mundane life to join Levi and Dutch's group of mercenaries. An odd combination of folks, Benny the control room operatorlook more like a surfer from California while Dutch has many similarities again to the big guy on cowboy bebop Jet, a solid guy who stands back and lets his crew do their job because he knows they are good at what they do. A solid action plot with good graphics and good music. I highly recommend this anime.
