Review of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (2009)

Pretty much an enjoyable filler slice-of-life show with supernatural elements. Lots of interesting things going for it; great art, creative story arcs, and does a lot with themes that could be considered generally "stagnant" (Endless Eight anyone?). Ultimately, I had higher hopes for the pay-off of the show, but it accomplished what it set out to do and I would recommend it to anyone that wants something different with their anime. (Gotta love those OP and ED dance moves though).
