Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

Ouch Ouch and Ouch Again It all hurts, everything is pain and the ache will never go away. This made me cry tears that I didn't even want to cry and made my eyes feel like fire. This felt like an emotional assault and I wanted to fight back but I simply couldn't, I was not strong enough. Anohana does a beautifully artistic job of tackling childhood/death of friends that I knew all too well growing up. A beautiful story encapsulating characters that you can't help but really sympathize with, delivers a very painfully serene experience that if you don't cry at, I'm certain your mother was aterminator.
