Review of Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

This anime follows the main character, Jinta Yadomi, after the ghost of his childhood friend visits him. The show starts out by showing that he is a dropout and doesn't really care about anything besides video games. But a visit from the ghost of his childhood friend changes everything. Anohana will make you cry so make sure you have a box of tissues with you. However, the story behind it isn't something I've seen before in an anime. The question "If you had a second chance to tell someone you love them, would you?" comes up as you progress further into the anime. This anime iswithout a doubt, one of my favorites. The last episode never fails to make me cry whenever I watch it.

The character design in this anime is really interesting. The characters are different but it's exciting to see their different reactions to their friend being visited by their childhood friend. Some are good, some are bad. However, the music for this anime is extremely beautiful. The songs they play for this anime fit it so well with each scene.

Overall, I can proudly give it a 10 out of a 10. This is one of the few animes that have made me cry and I'd recommend it to anyone. If you haven't watched it yet, I suggest you watch it now!
