Review of Bakemonogatari

Went ahead and gave this a try since it seems to be pretty popular and has so many different entries so i was interested in learning more about this monogatari universe. And most likely, it will stop at this 15 episodes as i had to force myself through the boredom that was Bakemonogatari. Not sure what this show is even about. Some episodes was basically 24 minutes of 2 people talking to each other. Repeating themselves over and over. Words without meaning. Mostly nonsense. Characters are very unlikeable. The MC is ofcourse another degenerent protagonist loser who likes to force himself upon little girls touchingtheir breast. His hair is annoying as hell also.

Theres no story here. Just a bunch of random events and conversations that drag on. The style is very out there and different. It feels again like they are just trying to be edgy and different for the sake of it rather than it being meaningful or tasteful in any way. Theres just nothing there to motivate me right now to give this any more chances. Hate the MC. Theres no interesting plot. It seems lika show about authors big ego and trying to look cool or edgy somehow. Aswell as showing of his freaky fetishes about forcing himself on small girls sexually.

But im sure there are people out there defending that and making up som excuses how its dealing with some psychological subject.

I actually gave this a 6. Which actually seems kinda high going on what reads like a bit of a rant. I was excited to give this a try but was mostly bored. Sometimes disgusted. But ill leave it as a 6 anyway. If i have nothing else to watch in the future i might give the sequel parts a chance to see if it gets better but theres nothing there to motivate me to do that now or giving me a feeling that it might get better even.
