Review of Fate/Zero

A very enjoyable anime with good characters, character development, and plot progression. Art and Sound were very good. The story dabbled in both a good amount of action as well as good character development. It kept you reasonably on your toes as to what was going to happen since it actively didn't telegraph what it was doing well in advance. Something a great many other animes are guilty of, but few escape. The characters were well fleshed out when they needed to be, and at other times characters that weren't so important would be needlessly fleshed out in a way that was still enjoyable and entertaining. Something marvelouslydone since a fairly major portion of the character development went towards someone that had virtually no impact on the story in any way whatsoever. The other characters remained vague enough to be interesting yet fairly unpredictable while also being predictable at the same time in their choices.

Just simply an enjoyable anime that made me reluctant to watch the Fate/Stay Night original, considering that UBW and this(Fate/Zero) are widely considered leagues better.
