This show is visually stunning. Fate/Zero boasts some of the crispest artwork on the market these days, and the animation quality is quite high. I'm also quite fond of the soundtrack that was composed by Yuki Kajiura. On the flip side, I have no idea why the decision was made to split this into two seasons. Fate/Zero struggles from having absolutely no climax at the end of a thirteen episode romp. So it really just becomes great eye candy as the resolution for the story and most of the action happens in the 2nd season. That's not to say that the show is without merits as there issome strong characterization in this show. I particularly enjoyed the performance of Rider, and the balls to do a gender-bent King Arthur.
