What's going on here, and what became of the main series are 2 different things, but in a bad way. It looks like the story that was originally planned would have made more sense, and maybe would have been closer to the events of Sonic Underground - but still before Robotnik took complete control over the area. In this, the doctor actually seems comfortable with his level of control even though it doesn't seen complete - at least not by of means what we think that would look like. Anyway... According to the what I saw and heard in the english version of the pilot - therewas going to treasure hunter Knuckles, less obsessed Amy, very useful Tails, I don't care about Rouge, and I donno what's going on with this rabbit. Shadows story was probably going to be less dramatic and more direct, or way more shrouded in mystery to the point of an unforefilling ending. Animated Sonic stories have a bad habit of doing that.

Overall 8/ 10 because I would have watched it if the anime went under this concept. Maybe there's still hope for future Sonic animations to be as good as this was suppose to be.
