Review of Sword Art Online

Sword Art Online... It's okay, nothing special or spectacular. I've watched the whole thing, and will watch the next ones, but it's more of a guilty pleasure show than anything else. Story: 5 The concept is great, who doesn't want to see what people do trapped in a VR, the concept is what hooked me. I'd have to say that the first 14 episodes were the best of this show, and they were average at best. Later on there are some points that get... uh, uncomfortable. Not the best, but still not bad. Art: 8 I liked the art, it was pleasant to look at. Sound: 10 This is where theshow really shines, the openings and endings were fantastic and I still listen to them, from time to time. LiSA did an amazing job with the first opening. The songs succeed in getting you pumped, even if the show is mediocre. The voice acting (dub) was okay.

Usually dramatic cardboard cutouts of people. But not horrible.

It's a guilty pleasure show, that's all I have to say here.

Not bad, not good, enjoyable enough to watch, but not rewatch (except for the openings and endings, those are endlessly rewatchable).
