Review of Hyouka

Really great anime is all I can say to start this off. It has a high school setting for a mystery which is not that common. Mysteries which the characters just come accross, somehow in their school life. The music pretty much complements the anime especially in the 'solving' part. If you've read the novel, you would be really happy on how well they adapted it into an anime. From the expressions of the characters from simple gestures to thought patterns. The comedy is pretty natural and also gives a light hearted feeling to the anime(even though it is a mystery). I've been commenting on otheraspects but now I'll talk about the mystery side. Even though its just 'ordinary' mysteries encountered, they are by no means easy and predictable. The main character's thought patterns are emphasized in the anime(even the most trivial thoughts) and you can really feel what and how he's thinking. It makes for a great experience when you think about it more deeply.

Well, it may just me liking this anime a lot because I've read the novel, but it really is a great watch. :D
