Phantom starts off with an interesting concept then falls of the ladder in my opinion. Watched to the 5 episode mark and wanted to continue but after 10 episodes I felt it was a bit of a drag, the recap episodes was the low point of the series. It was the writing I thought that brought it down but most action stories have weak plots, however this story was more so than average. Don't watch the recap episodes, they are clearly made for budget saving reasons. There are lots of niche animes like this one that people like. If you're ok with this kind of tragichyperbole of a story then you will probably like it. If not then I guess not, but if you've got some spare time and wan't to watch a niche anime like I did, then watch phantom, at least to the 5 episode mark then decide if you can stomach it.

The themes were kind of tossed to the wayside at times and then brought back, but I thought they failed to be cohesive or add anything substantial to this cheesy anime.

Story: Was weak but it's an action flik I watched for fight scenes.

Art: I liked the art, obviously this is where most of the budget was invested. However almost every character was shinpachi shimura from gintama just with some tweaks. lol

Sound: Audio was clean, the soundtracks were average. I think they could have made better choices but it's a cheesy anime this is what you get.

Characters: Only got attached to Eren(Ein) wanted to see her pull through and survive. Which she did, the ending is kinda ambiguous but after I watched it twice I thought it obvious Eren Lived and Reiji died. However this is basically a fantasy where main characters survive every scenario. I thought Reiji's choices didn't make sense for his character.

Enjoyment: Good for one to watch if you've got time to kill and are addicted to watching anime. Ultimately I only enjoyed Eren's character and her coming through. Otherwise I thought it was cheesy hyperbole which I can stand to watch sometimes.
The plot holes are obvious and are just plain comical. Had to just lol at them.
