Review of Akira

Akira is about a delinquent who gains a power created by the military. The plot is messy. It is hard to understand what is going on and I think it should have been made a a mini series or a series of movies. A lot of things that happen in the movie are unexplained so you should probably read the manga, to understand them but I'm not bothered to. The animation is not that good, but it's what you should expect from movies made in the 1980s. The soundtrack is bland and boring. I would recommend this film to anyone interested in a Sci-fi anime, madein the 1980s
