Review of Ghost Stories

Just like everyone else here, I am writing a review on this anime based on the ADV English dub. I've seen the first 2 episodes of this anime in another English dub that was NOT ADV and it bored me to death, which is why when I found out about the ADV (With FUNimation voice actors) parody one, I jumped at it to see what it was all about. I have to say the story-wise this anime sucks balls. I don't even know how it got so many episodes lol. It's just the same thing over and over for each episode. The art is meh, butI guess that's what's expected for the time period. I decided to watch this anime for one reason: The score/OST was produced by the guy who did the music for InuYasha - Wada Kaoru! yeah! It sounds ridiculously similar to InuYasha's music. I have to say I enjoyed most of the score.

What made this anime a 7 for was low-and-behold: The ADV dub! It was funny as hell and it made me wonder how they made such ridiculous joke tie-in with the actual story. At times it seemed as if the jokes were actually a part of it. Good job in saving the show, ADV! This gave me 19 episodes of laughter. Legend has it that I'm still laughing in my coffin.
