Review of Hunter x Hunter

So here's why I love hunter x hunter: - really cool character design. There's a murderous clown named Hisoka and he's so damn cool. Also a pedo though. Why did they have to make him a pedo. Anyway the character designs are cool - abilities are extremely diverse, versatile, and creative. Battles are truly thought with wits. This isn't one of those anime where the characters act like they are being clever and then do simple battle tactics. Hunter x Hunter characters plan out seriously advanced strategies during combat while accounting for the knowledge they lack about the enemy abilities. - the story is extremely well written. Dialogueis overall very good.
- pacing is very good.

I would give it a 10/10, if it weren't for the Chimera Ant arc which is a 60 episode snoozefest. Many viewers consider it the best arc, but it basically undoes everything I wrote above. Terrible pacing, terrible dialogue, very unfunny, meh battles, and more. It has some good sub-arcs, but most of it is bad.

Anyway, watch this show! It's excellent.
