Watangashi is the sequel to the beloved Onikakushi. Does it stand up well? Firstly, the story is definitely weaker, not only do the questions served in this chapter suck ass, but its also predictable at times, however it was also beautiful at times. Secondly, the art. Definitely a step up from Onikakushi, with its horror images even creeping me. Thirdly, and lastly the characters. Definitely the best part of Watangashi. Seeing how Mion struggles honestly made me feel really bad. Overall, its a good sequel. It may be weaker than Onikakushi, but it definitely does its job well. 7.5/10, 4/5
