Unfortunately, we're in the same anime again — the one that everyone praises to the skies but never actually produces any quality content. No story, no character development, no message. So I ask you: where is the masterpiece in this? Or the perfect shounen? It's genuinely awful. In general, I don't really prefer shounen anyway; I mostly watch seinen. But that doesn't mean I hate shounen — there are quality shounen out there. This one just isn't one of them. There's literally nothing that makes an anime good here. It only got loved because a few characters died this season and there was more action, butwhere is the good part in that?
Summary:
I don't want to go into too much detail, I'll just say the beginning: It's an anime that takes place in Jujutsu High, there are cursed battles and such, but I won't go into details (probably the fans are raging right now and thinking I haven't watched it). The reason I don't go into detail is because it doesn't have a coherent, well-structured story.
I watched this anime about a year ago I think. Even though I might have forgotten some things, I still remember the important parts from my first watch.
Rating:
Story: 10/3 (There is no story; at least it was a bit better than season 1)
Animation: 10/8.5 (I could have given 10/9, but there were rushed parts)
Sound: 10/7 (It wasn't bad, just average/classic)
Characters: 10/0 (Please don't come at me with this, fans only know Gojo and Sukuna, nothing else)
Overall enjoyment: 10/5
They fixed the story a little bit more, but it's still bad. I generally look at these kinds of things in anime, and animation + sound are not included in them. Those things don't make an anime good.
Conclusion:
It wasn't above an average shounen. I usually give 10/4 to anime with no story, so that's what I gave to season 1. Nothing much changed in this season either. If you like action and shounen, it might catch your interest or you might enjoy it, but it's nothing more than an average shounen. If you're into seinen like me and care about story, character development, messages, etc., you can watch it (I'll watch all the extra content soon anyway because I have to watch every extra piece of the anime I've seen, but I can't stand this anime anymore).
