In accordance with the ‘three episode rule’, this show just saved itself at the last minute. Some may already be put off by the slow start. Episode 1 & 2 aren’t lively and there’s a lot of stiff scenes. Even episode 2 part B is already a filler. But thankfully, the third episode turns out to be much more promising than the earlier ones. It introduces us two (or three) more lively characters which will definitely expand both the story and the enjoyment much more. The animation concept is interesting yet is still glitchy (very apparent in the first episode) with the F.A. Girls are animatedin CGI/3D but the rest (our human MC and the backgrounds) is in the usual 2D. Sometimes the CGI is so smooth like in the opening and subsequent battles (primarily episode 3).

The background soundtrack didn’t stand out very much and the volume is sometimes too low to be able to make the atmosphere. The ED is catchy though.

Looking at the final line up of the F.A. Girls, there should be a good number of personalities so it might be a wild ride after all of them are introduced. The existence of fanservices so far is still at a decent and acceptable amount.

If you’re either a mecha fan, looking for an action anime, or just want to see cute (miniature-sized android) girls then just give this anime a shot! It’s promising enough if they keep pumping out episodes like the third one.
