Review of Castle in the Sky

*SPOILER FREE* I was uncertain about this movie at first, because my sister wouldn't stop talking about how I needed to watch it. But I wasn't disappointed, and it now stands as my favorite movie that I've seen. I will go step by step, explaining why I rated each area the way I did, hopefully helping you decide if you wish to watch it. Story: 9 The story is amazing, and it's unlike anything I've seen before. It's very fast paced for the most part, and there are very few moments when I'm bored when watching. The plot gripped me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Art: 8 I think the artis good, especially for the 80s, but I wouldn't say it's AMAZING. I don't know how else to elaborate for this one.

Sound: 8
I don't understand exactly what it means by 'sound,' though I assume it means the way the voices and music sounds. The vocal audio was very good, and I love the music to death. It's so peaceful yet mysterious.

Character: 7
In general the characters are great, but there's one exception: Sheeta. I know, I know. She's a main character, so I shouldn't bash her. But. She's kind of annoying, and probably half (maybe an exaggeration) her lines are yelling 'Pazu!' She just doesn't have much personality, which may be why I dislike her. Other than that, the characters are great and I love them.

I think this movie is a very enjoyable family movie, I highly recommend it.
