This manga has some interesting concepts but is massively brought down by the very obvious sudden cancellation, there are several plot points that go nowhere despite being obviously set up to play a larger role in the story (Julio's entire existence, Lu's past, Yao's "best friend" and etc...) However, the most important thing that makes me give this work a "Not Recommended" rating is the existence of the Anime adaptation, which pretty much retools the whole story from an unfinished mess into a tight single-cour show and gives it an actual ending with no lingering plot threads and with actual events that lead up to itinstead of coming out of thin air.

Don't bother with this, just watch the anime instead.
