Spoiler warning

This review may discuss plot details.

Tsuguri is the son of a great tennis player from the past who died young from a heart problem. One day, after an accident in a sauna, he meets Sanada, a promising young player in women's tennis. The girl will lead Tsuguri to hold a racket for the first time. Shortly thereafter, the passion and talent inherited from his father comes alive in Tsuguri's heart, coach Tachigami, who looks like a yakuza, will take care of the boy to help him grow. Tsuguri's mother, whose name is Yuzuri, is a sweet woman who at the beginning is apprehensive for her son, given the bad end that herhusband met, but does not forbid him from a career in the world of tennis from the moment he is the his dream.

I found the ending of the story very interesting. Tsuguri's father is accused by many of using doping and steroids. For this reason there are theories linked to the fact that he died precisely due to abuse of these substances. Theories that are still made about some tennis players.

The manga ends soon, remaining only an initial phase of a palpable great story, with Tsuguri and some known boys (the protagonist's famous rivals) who dream of a professional career.
