Review of Land of the Lustrous

This anime so far has been breath-taking. The cgi animation was spot on unlike any other I've seen, I am very surprised they could pull off such remarkable fight scenes and just an overall beautiful style they twisted to making their own. I tended to relate very much so to our main character, Phos, they were a very blunt and out spoken character that tried their best to get their way not knowing it can have damaging effects (I will not go too deep into it for spoiler reasons) The other characters though I think should have a little more story put into them, theonly main ones are the diamonds, Cinnabar, and to an extinct Rutile. The music was lovely, I found to drift off whenever the lunarians theme started to play, it was absolutely a beautiful and correct choice for them to have it. Character design? A very unique choice! When I had first started watching I wanted to get every chance I could to see every gem's design as quickly as possible! Now the only complaints I do have is that it can make you feel, kinda off? When you finish watching the first season, from personal experience, and I do think there should be a little more world building. But anyways yes this anime is beautiful, I recommended to the fullest, it's definitely one I will never forget!
