Amnesia is a Japanese visual novel series by Idea Factory with a total of six games. The anime is from the studio Brain's Base and has twelve episodes + an OVA. Now, I liked Amnesia and thought it was pretty well paced for a twelve episode anime. Though one thing that pissed me off is that we never found out the main characters name. Story line: Amnesia's story line was very intriguing. The thought of a girl having lost her memories and jumping from parallel worlds is very interesting. Personally I liked the plot for this anime. It kept me going and keeping me invested. Not knowing what's exactly going on and being on the same page as the main character was very exciting. Also stressful. Now the how Neil thing did randomly come up, there suddenly being this man who was the one who caused the main character to jump from world to world was random but did give us answers.

Characters: The characters weren't my favorite part of this anime. The two I think stand out the most would be Ukyo and Shin. Shin is the first world we get and he is very interesting. From his style of clothing to his personality really made me invested in his story line. I never got bored when he was on screen. Aside from him we have Ukyo who takes the cake. A guy with a two part personality, one good and one bad was amazing. One time he was nice and next thing you knew he was threatening the main character with a knife. He was my favorite character in this anime and kept me liking him until the very end. Kent was a pretty interesting guy as well. The way he talked and thought was very interesting, though I was pretty angry that he only got one episode to talk about him and the main character. Ikki I personally hated but his story line was interesting. While the story about his eyes were weird, it was also very cool. Don't even get me started on Toma. At first I liked him and then his story line came along. I'm not even gonna talk about it go watch the anime if you haven't already. Now the main character who I personally call Chloe, since she looks like one to me, was what I think you'd call dumb but smart. At times I wanted to punch her and knock some sense into her, but at other points I was on her side. I never hated her though, since she went through pretty tough stuff.

Animation: The animation was normal, like what you'd find in lots of other animes but what really got me was the character designs. Each character had a distinctive look to them. From the way they dressed and talked, it gave them all memorable ways I'd say. Now the eye designs really remind me of the Diabolik Lovers eyes, did anyone else feel that?

Music: The soundtrack was average. My favorite piece of music would have to be the instrumental version of the opening. Now don't get me wrong, the opening was really great and catchy, but the instrumental version has you going with feelings especially with the final scene between Orion and Chloe.

Overall, I truly recommend this anime. If you like mystery and romance, you'll like Amnesia.
