As a whole, I took this series slow, and I thought that doing so might make it difficult to remember some of the beats. Then, I found myself sitting through a rakugo that was a repeat of a previous story I'd heard in the show, and I could remember all the beats, even the little eccentricities of the performer. All of that is to say that this was a truly beautiful experience that sticks in my mind in just the right way. It exceeds the original season while building on the foundation that season created, which is really apropos for this series. It has a fewtruly stand out moments, though it all weaves into the larger story. Like its storytellers, this anime is worthy of your attention and patience.
