Review of Attack on Titan
This anime has an assumed high standard from media hype over the years. I began to watch this; it is certainly different from the mainstream and what I would typically watch. To start with this is one of the better first seasons of an anime that I have seen in this genre with a dark tone developed alongside mystery throughout drawing the viewer in. The world-building and laws of this world are demonstrated perfectly where there are many things the viewer doesn't know about this world it enhances the story and keeps you engaged. Personally, this was great for me as I think if thisweren't the case I would have lost interest quickly. I appreciate the danger being quickly established with some moments being off the charts with violence or gore, even as someone who does not like this usually I felt more engrossed in the anime due to its importance in the world-building. This first season was a great set-up for the next one and I was glad to not be disappointed. Now with this praise the main negative I found was the main character I despised them at first I felt sorry for him but as you see how he treats people and his attitude that sympathy is quickly lost. However, there are many other side characters, who are more entertaining and likeable this did not diminish my enjoyment. Also because you become attached to these other characters when bad things happen it is harder hitting than you would expect
While I found this anime exceptional until the final season to begin with individuals need to decide if this dark tone is something they can handle and enjoy, if so I would recommend.
