Review of My First Girlfriend is a Gal

I'm sorry.... WHAT Seriously, what??? What did I just watch. I have not read the manga, and after watching this I really don't want to. It is styled like a harem, with aspirations to be a shojo but instead it was made for the male gaze... or rather... teenage boy gaze? I don't know. Basically, it was creepy, sexist, overly fetishized, perverted, predatory, and to top it off.. vapid. If anything it is closer to a hentai without the, uh, hentai . But if it were an actual hentai, and you were into it, the FBI probably has you on a list somewhere. It was so hilariouslybad at times that I couldn't help but laugh at it, so I guess you can call that a "romantic comedy" if you want. Banter was sad, character development nonexistent... just wow. If you identify with any of the characters in this, please seek professional help.
