Review of Dororo

This anime is an adaptation of Dororo that came out in 1969 when the anime was in black and white and was animated traditionally by paper frames. The mystery is great and I like how it keeps a traditional old folk story/feeling throughout the whole anime and is not exaggerated as some animes do to this day. This anime definitely stayed loyal to the 1969 version when it comes to storytelling. Obviously, Dororo from 2019 has a cleaner and more detailed animation and art, I personally think the character design became more pleasant and likable in 2019. What I love about this anime is howthe directors decided to stay loyal to the ending of the story. Both versions have the same ending, though of course, the way is told is slightly different, but its meaning stays the same. What I always hear the fans say about the ending is how they like the opening from 1969 is as catchy as the opening of 2019.
