I feel this one's a bit underrated. It's basically a pure fusion of Fire Force and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, and though it doesn't match the latter (how could it in the runtime of a movie?), it vastly exceeds the former. Lot of slick animation, some of the best animation stills I've ever seen, knows when and how to be dumb as hell and still make itself endearing. It's predictable, I didn't love the villain, and they did very little to develop most of the side characters, but damn if it wasn't a great time to watch. It's such a roller coaster of a movieand well worth the ride.
