Story 8/10 + comedy, romance, fantasy, music, magical powers, controlling weather, betrothal; good progression and pace. - sometimes the reverse-harem genre popped up a bit; hint dropping for the deeper drama to come after this season whereas this was the perfect time to leave the story as it is for people not really liking too much drama and existential crises. Art 10/10 + Attention to detail (opening song enhanced to the story progression each time was truly lovely), more realistic colour schemes, loosely-based medieval kingdom setting, no slacking off during the last episodes. - bit more old-school so some rough transactions/movements at times Sound 10/10 + nicevoice acting, songs and music; the rain songs were serene and wonderful; also loved the few typical recurring soundtracks
- could've done without the English in the rain song

Character 7/10
+ good character development for the main cast
- not too much attention to side characters; Nike being a goody-two shoes almost becoming borderline unbelievable/tiresome; bit of an ethical issue as I sometimes couldn't see the child in the sun king, though it's understandable why some decisions were made to highlight a certain point.

Enjoyment 9/10
+ A girl with a gift softening a tyrant king's icy heart, what's not to love?
- The hint dropping for deeper 'purpose'/'fates' to come does make it feel unfinished so I was compelled to read the last chapter of the manga to sate my own curiosity ... alas, to my disappointment, though I greatly enjoyed the anime.

Overall 8.8, great story on its own and nice to watch an episode a day.
