Yes, that's right, a sports anime with a formula that has been used by many other anime. I thought from the beginning of the story that this would be the same as other sports anime, and sure enough my guess was right. Gawain is the same as the main character in all sports anime that I know so far. Having a hidden talent, being underestimated blah blah blah. However, I really like Gawain's goal which is not to be the best golfer in the world but to be the furthest hitter in the world lol... It makes me a little entertained and excited, what willhappen next. However, with the theme discussed, I think this is quite well executed in terms of the story. I am a layman when I hear the word golf, I thought it was a game for rich people who only hit the ball until it goes into the hole. After watching this I became a little interested in golf competitions. This anime can make golf that I see boring interesting because of the good way of conveying it and at the same time informative when explaining the technicalities of golf.

Moving on to the animation, I really like the visuals and animation of this anime. Very well executed and not excessive. Makes me really want to see the characters keep hitting their golf balls lol...

However, I don't really like the fast pace of the story. To the point where such a strong character has already appeared in season 2. But I think it's only a matter of time until they release the next season. I'm sure there will be many strong characters later that can raise the audience's adrenaline. Because there are still many mysteries that have not been revealed in this anime.
