Is it a great show? No. But its amazingly better than its predecessor. Our characters have some personality and short character arcs, and we have a plot that somewhat makes sense and has ongoing meaningful stakes. Its not an especially good story, but just those two facts set it apart from the original build divers, and create motivation and naturally generated scenarios for good old Gundam fights. Nothing is very sophisticated but the shorter number of episodes actually helps by keeping the material pacy. The reason to watch it is the Gundam fights, which are passably animated but include some fun designs and the usual unusualchoices we get in Build series.

This is no classic, but if you are a Gundam fan and you want to watch some Gundams? There are certainly worse choices.
