Blue Lock: Episode Nagi · review

If you are a fan of Blue Lock s1, this is enjoyable! It has scenes from what was shown in season 1 but it feels brand new because its from Nagi’s perspective! We also see scenes with not only Nagi and Reo but also their teammates before and during blue lock, that were not shown before. It also shows you a more in depth look at the mind of Nagi and the significance of his team up with Reo and him inevitably joining Isagi. I thought it was great to see another side. In the original its Isagi who is the mc and we are rootingfor him the whole time. But in this it was hard to root for either team, because you wanted both to win.
The animation wasnt as good as the 1st season but it wasnt anything to cry over.
I still felt that familiar on the edge of my seat feeling while watching, which made it great for me. And I also went from feeling annoyed with Reo to actually liking his character.
In conclusion if you want to see more into Nagi’s mind, why he got into blue lock and how he went from listless and honestly depressed to passionate, watch this. It also shows scenes that we only saw with Isagi’s team, in Nagi’s team!
