Yasashii Jikan (or A Gentle Time) is a comedy one-shot released in 2021 by author Izumi Tsubaki, known for the works Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-Kun and Oresama Teacher. The story follows a businessman and a high school girl who sit together in a square every day at lunchtime. The main point of this comedy is that both never spoke, but each one creates a persona in their heads of who the other would be and what problems they were supposedly facing, just by the characteristics and external actions they observed during all that time of passive coexistence. Which ends up generating a comic misunderstanding at the endof the story.
I believe that maybe the author is interested in turning this one-shot into a bigger and more elaborate story in the future. Well, let's see.
