Angsty coming of age story with happy ending? Count me in! Kakeru, who just left his previous school because of the rumors of him being gay, tries to leave his past behind and move on by himself in his new school. Meanwhile, without knowing anything childhood friends Yudai and Ryo includes Kakeru into their friend circle and the story starts to get heated after here. We see the story from Kakeru's point of view, how he finds out his crush Yudai has crush on his childhood friend Ryo. While he's trying to support Yudai on his feelings, he also realizes that actually he wants to take Ryo'splace in Yudai's heart.

Even the affairs get complicated in the beginning, I loved that nobody did dirty and always remained supportive to each other in the friend group. Most of coming of age books have some abusive content but here I'm happy that I didn't found any of it.

Beautifully drawn characters (especially love the difference between Yudai's empowering and fake smile scenes) and short-nice story, recommended for sure.
