Coming from watching the Nichijou anime, I was wondering if CITY was going to be just as good or better than Nichijou, and for me it was the second. CITY still got the random and absurd humor that Nichijou had, just that a bit more chill (at least for me), but the new setting and charismatic characters made it a refreshing experience. I loved almost all the characters, from the main ones to the secondary, and seeing the silly and absurd situations they face every day made it's so fun to watch and also made me fall in love with them. The only flaw I find isthat there are jokes that I didn't understand at all or didn't find funny, perhaps because they are too "Japanese."

CITY is a worthy spiritual successor to Nichijou, and in my opinion, even better. If you like absurd and random humor or you are looking for something similar to Nichijou, then this manga is for you.
