Three things I love about this donghua. 1. Humor! You rarely get humor in a donghua, but there are tons of funny moments in every episode that don't steal the show - like when a background character bemoans having a 30-year mortgage after the protagonist destroys it - bad guys turning into piles of dust in body outline fashion (which other bag guys accidentally inhale). Lots of little moments that make you smile or laugh out loud. 2. Demon Pet! A ferocious, super-strong beast is reduced to a fluffy, adorable cat monster after entering the mundane world. If that wasn't funny enough,its facial expressions are adorable, and whoever is voicing it has one of the best giggles I've ever heard. Honestly, like the Minions, I'd watch a spin-off with just the beast to see what it gets up to.
3. Mischevious Leads! Hallelujiah! Leads who don't walk around all betrayed or serious because of some past trauma or petty, contrived nastiness with everyone they meet. These leads are pretty relaxed, taking their time leveling up, sticking it to the pompous or cruel characters whenever they can, and just generally having a good time.

I really recommend you give it a shot when you're looking for something a little on the lighter side.
