Territory of a Shark Girl · review

Shark Girl a short 1 volume story that follows Samejima the tall, delinquent appearing but kind hearted girl and Touzai our short and honestly quite bland male protagonist as they slowly get to know each other. The story had potential in Samejima and her family developing around Touzai's apparent feelings as they bud and potentially conflict with how they look toward their sister but the first volume is not much to gather from. The main appeal of this manga comes from Samejima's design especially with the fins in her hair and unique uniform compared the the usual high school settings outfits. Other than that the art isquite simple.

I don't know if the series will be started up again seems to be canceled but the manga is available to purchase digitally if you can read japanese and the author can be found on twitter at raku_raku if you wish to see more from him.

For people that like numbers, overall a 6 manga had great potential cuteness and good romance but lacked in developing Touzai and any characters other than Samejima.
