Review of Chainsaw Man

The action looks great and is choreographed very well,. The writing has twists and turns, with lingering questions to keep you hooked. Denji is a relatable protagonist if you are a loser. Kind of a wish fulfillment self-insert for people who want to be manipulated by strong women and also be a chainsaw at the same time. I wish Pochita got more screen time. It has what you would expect from something called Chainsaw Man but its also a lot deeper than that. The characters all have their own motivations and the 'good guys' aren't very good, lots of grey areas in everyone's actions. Agood mix of passionate idiots like Denji and Power, as well as serious characters like Makima. Some might find it to be dark gritty actionslop but I think its a quality peice of media.
