Review of [Oshi No Ko]

Episode 1 is pretty good and sets up an interesting mystery that the MC is allegedly going to dedicate his life to solving. Then episode 2 hits and all that goes out the window, never to return. Instead we get generic slice of life crap and some surface level commentary about how showbusiness is bad or whatever. Apparently it's not THAT bad though because MC and his whole harem are doing it anyway and seem to be having a fine time for the most part. Also there's a character named Ruby who is set up in the beginning like she's going to be a secondaryMC but then she does basically nothing the entire rest of the show. Like you could actually just delete her from the script entirely and nothing would be materially different. I don't get it.
