Kizuna no Allele - When the show's name betrays its actual premise by not featuring its titular character. My message for Season 2 is simple: Why are you still here? As if the necessity of Japan's need for Vtubers is massive, the only thing that can take this spirit away...is by coming up with something that is completely irrelevant to the source material. And look at what we got: the story of Vtubers becoming idols like said popular Vtuber, which is the most basic of ideas executed to ensure that the materials bombs as hard as it can get. This is Kizuna no Allele for you:a cash grabbing NFT feature show that does the complete opposite of what Vtubers are like, and the mockery that Kizuna AI is not even in the show, much less existing through cameos!

Everything about this series is just bad, and the production committee should be ashamed that they tried to market this show outside of Japan, which given the harsh criticism of its first half from earlier this Spring, should be a no-brainer to why you should avoid this show AT ALL COSTS.

I've already said of my piece deriding Season 1, and Season 2 is no different in every way: it's a waste of time marketing Vtubers outside of Japan through the wrong medium, the anime should have been stuck to YouTube (or even Twitch) instead.
