This anime isn't meant to be taken seriously. It's weird, off-putting and cringey but in a fun, "so bad it's good" type of way. Cliché scenes and dialogue are intentional and self-aware. The characters are likeable but don’t have a lot of depth, which isn't uncommon for a light-hearted comedy of this kind. The secondary characters appear somewhat randomly throughout the story and it can be a bit disorienting towards the end. If you can keep an open mind, Baban Baban Ban Vampire is worth a try. A lot of watchers may find the show disturbing and I'm shocked that the rating is only PG-13. It shoulddefinitely be reserved to a mature audience.

7/10 for being enjoyable and engaging.
