Review of Chainsaw Man

Minor spoiler: there is a pretty big shift in this show half way through or so. And I loved that shift. BUT, everything up to that point could be an amazing show for years and years. In my imagination, it is! This show is the first one where I’m like “This was made for me and I guess I have to go read the manga now!” Maybe I’ll wait until the movie comes out. Like the fact that they were like “Oh, you like that? Well fuck you!” And the pilot is heartbreaking yet hilarious! I’m newer to getting back into anime, DanDaDan broughtme back, and this one feels like it’s weird ass cousin! If anime is really supposed to be an ad for the manga, then this one worked for me! Take my money, please!!!
