Review of Lazarus

I really enjoyed this anime! The animation quality, especially during the fight scenes, was absolutely top-notch — fluid, intense, and visually stunning. The story itself isn’t bad; it kept me interested enough to watch through to the end. What frustrates me, though, is seeing people hate on this series just because they went in with unrealistic expectations. A lot of that seems to come from knowing the director’s previous work on another great anime and expecting this one to reach the exact same level. But every series is different, and judging it only by comparing it to the director’s past projects feels unfair. On its own,this anime delivered great action and solid storytelling, and I think it deserves more appreciation for what it is rather than criticism for what it isn’t.
