Honestly after the first few episodes I was left feeling a little disappointed and worried that the series was just simply not anywhere near as good as the main series. Luckily it seemed to pick up a bit after that and I ended up enjoying the show a lot, not quite at the level of the main but honestly not too far off. Obviously the story as a whole is barely existant, as all of the important story sections were used in the main series, but many of the included scenes and micro-storylines were just as fun and, overall I feel that it adds alot to the experience for an anime only viewer.
