Review of Angel Sanctuary

I give apluse to people who can step out of the box and do something completly diffrent, something very taboo and risky. Angel Sanctuary did this, and it by no mean's a good anime, in fact I really didn't like it. I don't know why I strated watching this, I'm not a big fan of deamon fighting animes. It was only three episodes and I had some time to kill so I tried it. I don't want to say the story caught my interest, but it did, because it was like nothing I have ever heard of in a anime. it's about a high schoolboy who finds out he has a god hating angel stuck inside of him and strange homosexual deamons are trying to get her out of him. On the bright side his high school life is going great! (love sarcasim.) he's actually in love with his younger sister, and not in the brother/sister kind of way, in the I want to make love to you kind of way.

The art is what almost saved it, this is a beautiful looking anime, very well drawn, with realistic looking people and the demons are drawn right out the old scrolls from which they were based off of. I think the story is what I didn't like, it was so out of the box though the creators really tried their hardest to slander everything and they did but it just didn't pay off in the end. Good try though.
