Review of Whisper of the Heart

8 is the lowest rating I ever give Studio Ghibli films, but it's a brillliant rating nonetheless. Whisper of the Heart starts off with a pacing that's a little too slow in my opinion, this also means it runs out of time at the end when the film is in it's stride. If you give it time to pick up and for the story to begin, you're in for a treat. Though perhaps not as wholesome as My Neighbour Totoro or as comforting as Howl's Moving Castle, Whisper of the Heart carries the charm of a Studio Ghibli film that I've never known any otherstudio to accomplish. Please watch it, you won't be disappointed.
